Summer School Teacher – Flexible Contract July & August 2018
London (Westminster), Bristol and Cambridge
Up to £32 per hour

Want to teach and inspire students from across the world? If you’re a passionate teacher looking to increase your earnings this summer, this is an incredible opportunity to take on a fresh, new challenge with a leading organisation based at a boarding school near to Bristol airport.

Our client is recruiting on behalf of a summer school for international students aged 7 – 18. Offering lessons in a wide range of curriculum subjects, they welcomed students from 33 different countries last year alone.

To continue their success, the school is now looking for a number of Summer School Teachers specialising in a range of subjects to join them on a flexible contract between July and August 2018.

As a Summer School Teacher, you’ll deliver engaging lessons in your specialist discipline to students and help to prepare them for the year ahead, whether they are primary students, studying for GCSEs, A Levels or the IB.

In this exciting contract, you’ll prepare and deliver blocks of four 75 minute lessons a week to classes of up to 15 students. You can work up to 25 hours per week and you’ll ensure that programmes include a mixture of theory and practical work and lessons are suitable to students’ varying abilities and language skills.

These positions are temporary and our client invites applications from Teachers who would like to work between 2 and 7 weeks during July and August 2018.

Specifically, you will:

- Seek to improve international students’ English language skills
- Create a stimulating and enjoyable learning experience for all students
- Write a weekly report for each student

Interested? To be considered, you’ll need experience of teaching your specialist subject.

Our client is particularly interested in hearing from primary school teachers, as well as KS4 and KS5 science teachers, but welcomes applications from teachers specialising in other subjects too.

Enthusiastic and patient, as a Summer School Teacher, you’ll be a fantastic communicator who can easily engage with and inspire others. Excellent time-management, prioritisation and planning skills are also key.
