DT and Art Technician

Point 12 (currently £17,173 FTE ) paid pro -rata Term time only (38 weeks plus 5 training days) 35.5 hours per week , 1 -year fixed contract

Cottenham Village College is on a journey to become an outstanding school where learning is at the heart of everything we do. We require a well organised, reliable and self -motivated individual with excellent communication skills to join our Art and DT faculty.

The DT and Art Technician will play a key role within the faculty ensuring that effective support is provided to all teaching staff and promoting Art Design and Technology at all levels within the college.

Main responsibilities include:

• develop effective working relationships with students and staff
• preparation of all apparatus for practical lessons at both KS3 and KS4
• ensure the proper maintenance of all equipment and materials
• ensure that correct stock levels are maintained and in collaboration with the Head of Faculty, order materials and equipment
