This company is a leading Manufacturer of Lighting and Lighting Control products. Operating in both UK and export markets.

Lighting Design Engineer

Salary and Benefits Negotiable - Depending upon experience

The Person
- Degree qualified Electrical/Electronic related subject.
- Previous experience within the electrical manufacturing industry an advantage but not necessary.
- Must have a strong personality.
o Self-motivated.
o Able to be flexible in their approach to the position.
o Work well under pressure.
o Excellent communication skills.

The Role
o Hands on involvement in developing and calculating Lighting and Lighting Control systems for commercial, healthcare and residential buildings.
o Working Knowledge of Drawing package including Cad/3D/Solidworks.
o Working closely with Major M&E Contactors and specifiers.
o Familiar with Relux or Dialux would be an advantage but not necessary
o Work with all departments to continually improve work systems and practices.
o Document / record changes to design progress.
o Update product data sheets and website content
o Identifying and implementing cost reduction opportunities.
o External Customer and Project support.
