Decorative Counter Sales Assistant

Our client is one of the largest and oldest independent Builders’ Merchants in the east of England with fourteen diverse sites. They are able to meet the needs of the professional builder and decorator, and those of their private customers.

This is an exciting opportunity to join their new branch in Saffron Walden.

They need someone who is customer focused, with a flexible attitude who can work both on the counter and deliver goods to their customers when required. Knowledge of decorative products is an advantage.

This position requires a person:

• with a high level of personal presentation
• excellent merchandising skills
• comfortable dealing with customers and closing sales
• with a keen interest in developing your product knowledge

The working hours are 45 hours per week.
