A London based company with international exposure is currently looking for a French and Japanese speaking Localisation Editor to join their dynamic and busy team. The Localisation Editor is to deliver a world class localisation service for video game related material. The French and Japanese speaking Localisation Editor will liaise with other localisation editors and project coordinators to edit, proof read and revise game-related material in the localised language.
Previous work experience in localisation of projects and time management skills will assist you to localise campaigns from Japanese into French with great accuracy and impact. Due to the nature of the projects, it is required that the candidate speaks French to mother tongue level and has great knowledge of the Japanese language. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced multi-lingual environment in an innovative company with great career advancement opportunities if they prove themselves.
Profile
* Fluent in French up to mother tongue level
* Fluency in Japanese as an additional language is required
* Previous work experience as a translator, QA tester, localisator or transcreator is essential
* Solid skills in localisation, translation, adaptation, time management and account handling is essential
* An interest in French literature is highly beneficial
* Previous work experience in a video game related company is desirable
* Outstanding organizational experience including multitasking and prioritising campaigns
* Hard-working, enthusiastic, calm under pressure, team player
