We are currently recruiting for a Finance Administrator to work of on behalf of our client based in City Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join an expanding team within the financial services industry. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working in the finance or banking industry.
Main Duties:
•Daily deposit reconciliations completed in line with deadlines;
•Maintain and file reconciliation reports if required by the business or internal / external auditors;
•Send private client payments daily as requested, this includes payment from client bank accounts and posting of cash to/from client's accounts;
•Acquire a good working knowledge of Third Party Payment rules as set out by compliance and be able to make these on a case by case basis;
•Acquire knowledge of the larger Finance team including deposits and lodgements and the interaction of each;
•Provide support to other members of the Finance team and cover team members when needed
Requirements
•Business, Finance or Accounting related degree or equivalent.
•Attention to detail;
•Strong processing skills;
•A proven record as a strong team player;
•Strong MS Office Excel skills;
•Keen interest in pursuing a career within the Finance team
