Contract Personnel have a fantastic opportunity for a Hatchery Production Operative to work in our clients' hatchery at Great Yarmouth.
This awesome opportunity is for 39 hours per week, Monday - Friday, but there is always a possibility of O/T being available, which is paid at time and one half.
The role will involve working in a small team alongside the Hatchery Manager. The role can be physical as you will be involved moving labelled trollies throughout the hatchery. However, practical skills are also required along with an awareness of Health and Safety. Your duties will include working with eggs, incubation, grading of birds and cleaning. You do not need particular qualifications for this role. However, it would be beneficial if you have an interest in working with Poultry. Experience of working on a farm, in a Hatchery or with livestock is desirable, but not essential.
The shift start time is 0600 hours - 1430 hours Monday - Friday with Wednesday finishing at 1330 hours
