You're an Accounts Manager. You know your stuff when it comes to bookkeeping and management accounts and you've used a variety of accounting software. You're used to managing and mentoring staff and, it goes without saying, you work to a very high standard. You're looking for a fresh challenge. Something that gives you a high level of responsibility and rewards you for the work you do. And maybe a better work/life balance.

If you've managed the accounts for clients within an Accountancy Practice, or for a group of companies on a departmental level, then this may be that fresh challenge you've been looking for.

Working for a well established firm of Accountants, in modern offices, in your new role, you will be managing the Outsource team who produce the accounts for their smaller businesses, including specialist sectors. You will have three direct reports and oversee department as a whole which includes an experienced team of bookkeepers, payrollers and credit controllers, with full P&L responsibility for that team. Your day to day duties will include sign off for the client's management accounts and working closely with the client portfolio to identify new areas of added value. You'll be onboarding new clients and constantly seeking to improve the processes and achieve the KPI's for the department.

If you would describe yourself as an experienced manager, with good, solid accounts expertise and the strength of character to seek out process improvements to drive the business forward, we want to hear from you.
