JOIN OUR TEAM

As supervisor you will be part of a small team, your communication must be clear. As the first point of contact for all our new employees it will be your responsibility to ensure that all are made to feel welcome and have a welcoming transition into their new employment.

You will be responsible for delivering training supported by the Account Coordinator and Account Manager following comprehensive "on the Job" training.

You must be able to work under pressure and time frames as it can be a difficult environment during busy periods. a working knowledge of Microsoft office would be an advantage.

Key tasks:

* To ensure all workers are present at the start of every shift, ensure all workers 'clock in'' and are issued a locker keys as per on-site process.
* Ensure all workers returning from a period of absence have completed RTW health clearance declaring that they are fit to work and free from any food poisoning symptoms.
* Complete daily timesheet for appointed shift ensuring all notes and hours to be paid are legible and easily read (reconcile with Open Time)
* Ensure smooth check out, all lockers keys must be returned and accounted for.
* Inform Account Coordinator and the client line manager/supervisor if the worker numbers are lower than requested,
* Seek to promptly find replacements to cover absences if requested by the client
* Allocate personal protective equipment as required
* Meet all new starters and conduct a site familiarization, introduce new starters to their team leaders
* To provide support and on the job training to all flexible workers - new and existing.
* To be an additional 'visible' point of contact for workers and managers
* To briefly explain the whole process chain of that particular production line and answer questions
* The completion of weekly paperwork ie. Worker evaluation forms, spot check outcome forms.
* Pass on worker feedback to Stafforce to aid continuous service delivery improvement.
* Communicate with flexible workers reference booked shifts.
* Report any breaches of Health & Safety policies & procedures
* Intervene and manage any minor breach of health and safety protocols - advising workers of correct

Procedures.

* Ensuring changing-in and changing-out procedures are followed
* Arrive 30 minutes prior to shift commencing
* Manage own time effectively

Key Skills Required:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work 'on line'.
* Ability to provide effective coaching and encouragement to new and existing workers.
* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Confidence to voice concerns and give appropriate direction.
* Handle basic requests and/or escalate to Stafforce if necessary.
* Excellent customer service.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
* Demonstrate excellent personal standards and expectations.
* Demonstrate a self-motivated, proactive 'can do' approach to work.

Your normal working hours are 05:30 am to 14:30 pm (inclusive of one hour for lunch) Mon - Fri, working every required Saturday on a rota basis 05:30 am to 09:30 am this week your chosen day working hours will be reduced to 10:30 am.

There must be a high level commitment for attendance.
