This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Graduate Structural Engineer to become an important part of a highly respected, independent engineering consultancy in South Yorkshire. Our client delivers a wide range of exciting projects to a diverse client base across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors amongst others, and you will have the opportunity to play an important part in the delivery of these projects from inception to completion. Our client is looking to offer a salary of up to GBP28,000 for this position, in addition to offering a wide range of benefits and a company pension.
In order to be considered for this Graduate Structural Engineer role you will:
- Hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Possess at least 2 years' experience within a UK based engineering consultancy
- Possess experience of designing in steel and concrete
- Possess a proficient understanding of AutoCAD
- Possess a good knowledge of British Standards and Eurocode
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills
Key responsibilities of this Graduate Structural Engineering role include:
- Work directly alongside a number of highly experienced engineers
- Work on the delivery of a range of projects from inception to completion
- Attend site projects and design meetings as required
- Carry out structural design and analysis on a range of projects
- Liaise closely with a wide range of valued clients
- Write reports and carry out calculations as required
