Corporate Development Manager
South London
£60000 - £75000 per annum
I am currently sourcing a Corporate Development Manager for a FTSE 100 Financial Services company, based in South London. A highly commercial role that sits within the Finance Corporate Strategy team and is heavily involved in M&A activity.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Taking lead on a variety of projects set out by Strategy Director, to ensure they planned, implemented and communicated successfully to key stakeholders
* Robust financial analysis to assess the impact of major strategic changes and transactions, including annual strategic plan on shareholder value
* Review potential corporate development opportunities and assess financial and strategic attractiveness to the business
* Work with the Strategy Manager to translate Corporate Strategy into an active Corporate Development programme
* Provide corporate development and valuation input to smaller transactions, including the coordination of due diligence
Essential knowledge and experience:
* Qualified accountant (ideally ACA)
* Experience working within financial services essential, and an understanding of the insurance industry would be advantageous
* Post-qualification transaction advisory experience ideally gained within a top tier consultancy or in-house in a FTSE 100 company
* Strong financial modelling skills
