With an established, yet rapidly expanding customer base, we have a great product for those who know we do the right thing as well as helping others who are ready to make their energy and sustainability impact. We are innovative, fast paced, and just plain different, with a strong commitment to our customers, priding ourselves on the ability to be highly flexible, agile and able to adapt to each customer's needs. With a unique portfolio of products and businesses, this role is about helping us to drive operational effectiveness and improvements across our fleet of large and small scale wind and solar assets as well as our electric vehicle charging stations across the motorway network. There is also the potential to build and lead a team to safely, effectively and efficiently manage the O/M and performance optimisation of other customer owned renewable energy assets. This is an ideal opportunity for an already experienced O&M manager, capable of delivering increased generation capacity through strategic insight and planning. The O&M team literally keeps all of our machines running, from wind turbines to solar panels and the electric highway. We have sites all over the UK and it goes without saying keeping these going means we can help Britain stay charged, whether in their home, business or vehicle. All of our engineers work directly for us, that matters as they share our vision and values and know that we value safety above anything else as well as great customer service, as well as saving the planet of course. So this makes our leadership roles that little bit different, we want excellence in our operations and maintenance on behalf of our customers, our people and the planet. THE INDIVIDUAL: You will be, like us, passionate about sustainable energy with, of course, commercial ability and sound technical knowledge. Superb electronic and mechanical engineering experience is essential, so you'll have this with a great understanding of the commercial aspects of wind/solar farms and other renewable energy. You can inspire teams and manage operational activity in equal measure and will be obsessed with safety and accuracy, achieving what you need to in the time you need, but never compromising on the highest standards, you have the best of integrity. Value for money, delivering on time and measuring success are second nature, your organisational skills are an asset and you use technology to assist delivery, this all comes with passionate communication skills and a desire to do things the right way. Your normal working week will be 36.5 hours but we are always happy to consider flexibility especially when you probably travel and need to do some alternative hours, with this in mind you can work on your own as well as within the team, whatever the job needs you to do. TASKS: Always make sure we uphold and adhere to the highest standards of Health & Safety for our people, the portfolio of assets and quality and environmental standards. Help us define and implement a best practice maintenance vision and strategy with supporting policies, processes and procedures that maximise the performance of our renewable assets; Contribute to new business initiatives and projects whilst assessing and communicating the impact on our maintenance activities; Be a role model, consistently promoting high standards of values and behaviour, showing your team the way, leading and inspiring them to achieve excellence using best practice and continuous improvements approaches, organise their activities across the UK so that all of our operations on the estate are the best they can be; Design and manage our annual maintenance budget, forecasts and capital expenditure, always with an eye to value for money and legal responsibilities; Develop, update and continually review KPI's to give the Head of Generation clear oversight of all Operations and Maintenance performance; Work actively with internal and external 3rd parties and contractors, making sure they worry about the things we do and uphold the utmost integrity of our brand Phone: Email: Address: (0) Capital Tower 91 Waterloo Road London SE1 8RT
