Warehouse Manager

Sussex recruitment are seeking a warehouse manager to run the day to day activities of our client's warehouse and lead a small warehouse team.

-Day to day running of the warehouse which includes leading and motivating a small team
-Ensuring all warehouse staff receive inductions and training
-Prioritising allocation of work
-Effectively deal with staff problems
-Responsible for ensuring that all customers orders are dealt with efficiently and orders are dispatched promptly
-Ensure that all goods are sent out at the appropriate time
-Overseeing warehouse equipment requirements
-General warehouse duties, including picking and packing against orders, 'housekeeping' etc
-Effective control of incoming stock
-Organising large palletised deliveries, ensuring that they are successfully dispatched
-Ensuring Stock Control accuracy
-Involvement in organising and participating in the auditing of stock.
-Assisting with preparation, the set up and breakdown of exhibition stands. This may include overnight stays.
-Health and safety: ensuring all warehouse areas are kept clear and clean and tidy

Qualifications and Skills:

At least 3 years' experience or more of managing/supervising a team in a commercial environment. Preferably managing a warehouse. You must be experienced in managing people and stock.
