Our client is looking for an experienced facilities, operations and H&S Manager. You will be NEBOSH qualified and have a full UK driving license.
Role Purpose
Working within the Real Estate team you will be responsible for the management of the facilities and health and safety throughout our UK operation.
Principal Accountabilities
Facilities Management
• Procure and manage as required all national maintenance contracts.
• Hold account reviews with above at frequencies relevant to scope and value of contract.
• Account reviews to include KPI analysis against maximum uptime and first time fault to fix ratios.
• Provide advice and escalation for all non-routine works, i.e. specialised local reactive works to Business Managers.
• Establish and maintain a user friendly CAFM system.
• Established knowledge of M&E systems e.g. ventilation, generator, fire alarm & sprinkler systems, drainage & sump pumps, lifts, etc. to challenge quotes & recommendations from current suppliers.
• Effective management of Lift insurance reports, repairs & tracking.
• Manage PPM delivery.
H&S
• Full ownership & management of all related documentation to maintain Company compliance.
• Maintain company H&S policy.
• Advise Senior Management team and Board on company H&S matters and risk mitigation strategies.
• Review Risk Assessments to ensure they are current and compliant.
• Advise local Business Managers on H&S matters.
• Advise the business on H&S matter for new company initiatives and installations.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
• 10 years' minimum experience of FM & H&S delivery in a national multi-site business.
• Ability to analyse & present to key business partners.
• Effective administration of all FM / M&E / H&S requirements to maintain compliance & support to operational management.
• Customer champion who supports field colleagues to resolution of issues going above and beyond supplier specification compliance if that fails to provide closure.
• Identify VFM performance throughout the Estate.
• Nebosh qualified.
• Full UK driving licence required.
Additional Information
• Working 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday from our Head Office within Leeds city centre. Additional hours may be required including travel and overnight stays due to the nature of the role.
• Salary range - up to GBP40 K
• Car allowance GBP7.3 K
• 24/7 city centre parking pass
• Bonus potential up to 1 months salary
