Are you seeking a new role that will utilise your exceptional customer service and organisational skills?

Our client is a leading logistics provider in Kent - who have opened a new logistics centre in Mid-Kent and are seeking new talent to add to the existing team.

The incoming candidate will be required to ensure all palletised freight distribution within the depot runs smoothly - other accountabilities will include.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To continue to achieve objectives and standards laid out as part of a team;
  • Responsible to work with the team for the day-to-day running of the Pallet operation;
  • Support the business with all pallet activity recording and ensuring that movements are recorded on a timely basis, resolving any issues promptly;
  • Responsible for the management and updating of the pallet boards;
  • Liaise and communicate with customers and other depots to ensure logistical and transport requirements are being met for all contracts and that all opportunities are being realised and maximised;
  • Responsible for communicating information to other Pallet team members;
  • Day-to-day management of the pallet driver's workload;
  • Any other reasonable duty at the request of the Pallet Operations Team Leader.

The ideal applicant will already be working within the freight and/or distribution industry (and have a working knowledge of pallet operations, driver's hours legislation, tachograph procedures and other legal obligations) but training will be given to the right candidate, too.

The successful applicant's salary will vary dependent on level of experience - but candidates will need to be able to work every other Saturday.
