Job Title: Fire & Security Installation/ Service Engineer

Location: Hayes, Middlesex

Salary: £23,000 - £30,000 per annum + Overtime (Depending on experience)

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 08 to 17 Monday - Friday

Job Role:

A well established and expanding company in Hayes, Middlesex seeks a highly skilled and experienced Fire & Security Installation / Service Engineer.

This position demands experience and a working understanding of Fire & Security systems to the appropriate British Standards, BAFE & SSAIB Codes of Practice and Health & Safety requirements. Experience in public address and voice alarm systems will be an added advantage. The applicant must have the desire to maintain the high level quality standards of the company.

This position calls for the ability to work independently and assist other engineers, coordinating effort and discipline in a team situation. The applicant should be self-motivated and have excellent attention to detail, time management and ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.

The levels of skills are measured in the degree of competence in the installation, commissioning, servicing, fault finding, remedial tracing and repair of systems.

Main Duties:

• Installation/Commissioning/Maintenance of Fire, Sound & Security Systems
• Servicing/ Repairs and Fault Finding
• To complete jobs as scheduled by the Service Team including Routine Maintenance and Call-Outs
• Customer Liaison
• To ensure that the client is satisfied in all aspects of the maintenance / service visits prior to leaving site, and to project a commitment to quality customer service at all times.
  To ensure that all relevant documentation is fully completed accurately and in a timely manner

The applicant should also be prepared to work during evenings and weekends and should have a clean UK driving license

This position will be subject to a satisfactory CRB Disclosure and Security Screening report.

The Company will not be providing a sponsorship or relocation package so all applicants must already be eligible to live and work in the UK.
