Residential Support Worker

We have a very exciting new opportunity working as a residential support worker, supporting young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs!

The Role: You will be working for an established leaving care company, providing solo placements for young people with complex emotional and behavioural issues. These placements will be intense and you will need to be restraint trained (team teach). You will be engaging with the young people, assisting with outdoor activities, essentially motivating and offering support and advice to the young people.

About you: You will be pro-active and flexible for shift work, you will need to be passionate about what you do and be reliable. If you have an NQV Level 3 would be ideal but not essential.

Requirements: Ideally you will have a minimum of 1 years work experience or 6 months with a relevant social care qualification. You will have previous experience working as a residential support worker and be restraint trained specifically team teach.
