Accounts Assistant - Treasury & Regulatory 
Hinckley, Leicestershire

Due to ongoing growth, we are now looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our dedicated team.

Your Role: 

As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll perform a range of administrative tasks to support our Treasury and Regulatory function. 

Reporting to the Treasury & Regulatory Reporting Accountant, your duties will include: 

- Daily cash projections to forecast required funds and balance movements 
- Daily bank tape of standing orders including loading and reconciliation 
- Daily allocation of payments in closed accounts 
- Managing invoice processing including authorisation, coding, payments and supplier statement reconciliations 
- Weekly buffer reporting and maintenance of interest schedules 
- Assisting with monthly and quarterly FSA, COREP and BoE returns 
- Daily and monthly completion of Treasury Management System (TMS) processes 
- Month end contribution to completion of the ALCO pack 
- Cash ordering for branches and payment of cheque requests

About You: 

While no experience is required, to be considered, you’ll need: 

- At least five GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English at grade C or above 
- An aptitude for figures 
- A high level of IT literacy and strong typing skills 
- An excellent telephone manner and the ability to work with a high level of accuracy 
- A great eye for detail 

As a financial services organisation regulated by the PRA and FCA, our staff must be honest, financially sound and maintain high levels of competence and capability in their role. Therefore, our pre-employment checks include adverse credit checks and criminal records checks (DBS checks).
