TEMPORARY TEACHER OF SCIENCE

0.72 - 0.8 FTE

Required for the summer term we are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dedicated teacher to join our Science department in our brand new school building.   We are looking to recruit a passionate individual who is both committed to excellent teaching and learning, and to inspiring young people to achieve their best possible outcomes. 

The successful candidate should be suitably qualified to teach Science to KS3 and Physics to KS4.  For the right candidate there may be an opportunity to teach Physics at A level in the future.

Applications are invited from applicants at any stage of their career.  The school has an excellent track record of supporting and developing NQTs.

The post is temporary to cover for a vacancy, pending the outcome of an internal period of secondment which ends in August 2019. 

The Academy has recently been inspected by both SIAMS and OFSTED and received Good in both inspections.  The Academy has a dynamic leadership team across both senior and middle leaders, and professional development opportunities for all our staff.
