Head of Sales
£40,000 + Sales Bonus
U Studio is growing! To accelerate that growth we are now looking to expand our sales team by hiring an experienced Head of Sales to play a pivotal role in sales strategy and the growth of the business.
Who are we?
We design contemporary and art led gifts and cards at our Bristol based studio, collaborating with the brightest and best artists, illustrators and photographers from across the globe. We supply some of the top retail shops in the UK – John Lewis, Paperchase, Urban Outfitters and The Tate Modern to name but a few.
A typical day looks like…
You’ll work with the Managing Director, and the current sales team to create a strategy for sales that encompasses and nurtures our current key accounts, but also provides ample opportunity for identifying and pursuing new business. You’ll utilise your current market knowledge to understand and communicate market trends, potential opportunity and create intuitive sales forecasts – forever looking to maximise ROI. Your experience and inspirational managerial skills will ensure that your team and our 10 contracted sales agents remain motivated, productive and completely in the picture – due to the brilliant communication strategy you’ll have implemented.

This is a big role for U Studio – we’re looking to our Head of Sales to grow our business to new heights. You need to be confident in your sales, management and leadership ability, and comfortable taking on complete responsibility for the sales division. You’ll need a successful track record in creating and implementing sales strategy in the FMCG sector, and if you’ve got sales management experience in the card or gift industry – we definitely need to chat. You’ll have the gravitas and experience to motivate a team, and the desire to inspire and develop them into the best sales force in town. Your commercial acumen will be second to none, and you’ll have the intuition to identify and capitalise on sales opportunities from a mile away.

We can offer a starting salary of £40K, and a sales bonus, based on the performance of you and your team. If you’re excited by sales but are tired of the formal corporate approach – we could definitely be right for you.
