CNC MULTI AXIS TURNER
GBP10-GBP12.50ph based on experience
39 working week with an early finish on Friday - Nights may be an option
You will be joining a reputable engineering company who supply components into civil and military aerospace and defence industry sectors
For this CNC multi axis turner position you must:
- Experience with DMG Mori multi axis lathes
- Experience with Siemens and Fanuc controls
- Experience setting operating machines
- Able to read 2D and 3D engineering drawings
- Worked towards AS9100/ EASE part21 standards
- Experience with aerospace or nuclear and high tolerances
- Record productive time on manufacturing systems and manage Route Cards
- Must have worked with a variety of exotic metals
- able to self-inspect work and work with little supervision
- Involvement is activities such as 5S, TPM, SQDCP board discussions and OEE
Required qualifications as our CNC Turner multi axis:
- An academic background if possible with NVQ level 3 / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering.
- Time served on programming / setting & operating Multi Axis CNC lathes.
Shifts for this CNC turner position:
Monday - Friday 39 hour week with an early finish on a Friday
Plenty of overtime available at premium rates
