Drug and Alcohol Practitioner - £23,500 per annum – Rochester – Full Time, Permanent.

They have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Substance Misuse professional to join their team at HMP Rochester.

You will develop and contribute to the through care needs of service users, supporting them in the development of release plans which are appropriate to their needs

You will take an active role in the implementation and achievement of team objectives and will deliver, and support the delivery, of drug and alcohol treatment programmes and will be responsible for the case management of offenders on your caseload.

You will deliver both one to one intervention and group workshops (including CBT and 12 Step based) enabling clients to address their addiction issues. You will work with internal and external partners to provide a comprehensive and person centred service.

To be successful in this role you will need to have experience and knowledge of supporting clients with substance misuse issues, a good understanding of recovery and the criminal justice system.  A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social care or willingness to work towards this is also desirable.
