The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Distribution Shift Manager based at our Tamworth Depot. Reporting to the Distribution Manager the successful candidate must be flexible in their approach to work, highly customer service driven, a great motivator and a clear front line leader.
A good knowledge of Managing a large scale operation is essential as well as being passionate about people and being committed to delivering a truly outstanding customer experience. Key responsibilities to this role will include but not be limited to:
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Customer Service & Communication skills internal / external
• Ability to lead and inspire a team of administrators driving continuous improvement with overall service to our customers
• Recruitment, retention and training / development of both our driving and admin team.
• Contributing to key projects and objectives for both the depot and the business
• Management of 3rd party maintenance provider and service level agreements
• Cost control - budgetary management experience
• Experience of different fleet performance management systems
• Experience of and compliance to internal quality management systems The Person
Ideally having worked in a similar role with previous experience of managing people or processes within a Distribution environment
Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

• 3 years' experience of managing large teams within a fast moving distribution environment
• Computer literacy
• Results focused
• Good communication skills
• Computer literate
• Prepared to be "hands" on when the need arises
• Calmness under pressure
