Reporting to: Account Controller (day to day) & Deputy Chief Executive (Finance and Operations) as senior lead
Responsible for: No management responsibilities
Work Pattern: Part time, full year. Must be available to work Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays
Hours: Annualised hours of 843.50 working hours and 122 hours annual leave per annum
We are excited to be recruiting a part-time Finance Assistant to complement our existing staff team who provide timely and accurate central finance provision to the Students' Union and its enterprise company. We are looking to recruit a candidate who has previous finance experience, working with computerised accounts packages and a strong working knowledge of finance functions such as credit control, cash book and ledgers. Some experience of EPOS is desirable to ensure we bring together our buying and asset management information to support our trading areas of the Union.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of financial practices and its operation and demonstrates strong computer literacy. Working in a busy and diverse environment we are looking for someone who brings a strong customer focus and keen attention to detail to their work.
