The successful candidate will have an innovative approach to new ideas and continual learning as well as good knowledge of learning and development needs for volunteers. Skills and experience in delivering exciting and innovative learning opportunities are essential. A passionate approach and interest in the development of others is required. In addition, strong administrative skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office applications are also needed.
As a Volunteering Coordinator, your main responsibility will be working across our LiveWell projects to develop new roles, recruit and train volunteers. You will work closely with Project Leads who directly support volunteers at projects to develop high quality roles and ensure they can give their volunteers excellent support to develop and achieve in their roles. You will be part of the Co-design and Improvement team, and will also directly support their team’s volunteers.
You will support the design, development and delivery of volunteering events and activities and have the opportunity to develop innovative volunteering models. You will manage the day to day administrative duties relating to volunteers. You will be willing to undertake any training or development required to carry out this role.

- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as taking own initiative.
- Able to deal effectively and efficiently with both telephone, email and face to face enquiries.
