The Project Leader role will involve support and coordination for large scale projects along with the sole responsibility to manage and deliver smaller scale projects. This will include managing projects through the project lifecycle ensuring all documentation is produced, actions completed by stakeholders and task owners.
Projects will include; Implementation of service development projects, service implementation projects following award of contracts to deliver new services, operational improvement projects and initiative to develop growth in the services.
Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Establish full project plans for new business in co-ordination with the Head of Progress Lifeline, ensuring timescales are clear and progress against the project plan is monitored and managed.
- Create and maintain project documentation to include project initiation documents, plans, check point reports, issues logs, communication plan, meeting minutes and actions.
- Maintain risk, issues and actions logs and monitor progress of a variety of projects, highlighting concerns and developing solutions to overcome problems.
- Lead and project manage projects and co-ordinate the activities of project members to ensure the project keeps to timescale, including gathering information to enable new services to be delivered and planning the migration of information from external organisations on to in-house systems.
Skills & qualities
You will have/be:
- Formal project management qualification or relevant project management experience
- Previous experience of working with and leading projects
- The ability to manage and develop project plans
- The ability to manage and implement procedures systems and projects
- Proficient IT skills including Word and Excel.
Additional Information
The role will be based on a full time, permanent basis working 36.25 hours a week.
