Creative Artwork Manager - Art Gallery
Bucks/Berks
GBP35k - NP511
This is a unique opportunity for a highly-organised Creative Artworker, who has a passion for fine art, and the ability to manage a high volume of artwork. You'd be joining a company that has over 50 years' experience in their field of expertise, and a company that will really look after you!
You'd be working for a company that helps showcase artists' talents through exhibitions and sculpture shows, allowing them to connect with buyers. The scope of work would be quite varied, from infographics, event collateral, exhibition graphics, catalogues, and more. The nature of the role extends a lot further than artworking though; you'd manage the inventory, manage printers, liaise with artists directly, book in projects and more.
The right person for the role will have the below qualities:
* The strength of mind to work on your own
* Ability to work to strict deadlines
* Being able to revert back to an artist's style and brand guidelines
* Have an incredible eye for layout design
* Be mindful of your use of typography
* Understand how to craft an idea that resonates with an artist's work.
The role would ideally suit someone with an incredibly strong understanding of the print process, who has the ability to work on projects from concept through to completion. Perhaps you've come from a book design background, you've worked for a publisher, or you're a dedicated artworker who has a passion for fine art.
The offices are very easy on the eye, the stunning tree lined driveway opens up into the sculpture garden as you make your way into the office. Then, aside from the salary of GBP35k you'd have access to private medical care and the opportunity offers the chance to join a company that is highly-recognised (internationally) in the art world. The working hours are 8:30am - 5:30pm, with 25 days' holiday
