Meraki Talent's investment client is short listing for a number of Business Analysts (Investment and Asset Servicing) as part of a business migration and team expansion. Initiatives will include the on-boarding of new business wins, the building of new business models to support business or market driven initiatives, re-structuring of client business, re-engineering initiatives driven by industry changes and internal projects.

Responsibilities of the Business Analyst (Investment and Asset Servicing)

- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.

- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver artefacts as needed

- Utilize experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required

- Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates and standards

Background of the Business Analyst (Investment and Asset Servicing):

- Experience working directly within investment servicing, fund management, fund platforms or a similar environment essential

- Experience working as either a Change Analyst or Business Analyst within the above sectors

- Alternatively, experience working within investment operations with extensive involvement in Change or Projects (Eg. Can example things upon CV such as Process Mapping, User Documentation, Impact Assessment/Gap Analysis, Solution Validation, Root Cause Analysis, Business Requirements Gathering/Documentation, Operating Model Design, Process Design, Solution Design, Feasibility Study, Business Readiness, Test Planning etc)

- Strong stakeholder management skills
