A fantastic job opportunity has just arisen from my great client for a Gas Compliance Officer in Cambridge.
Key Details:
•2 month contract initially.
•Monday - Friday, 9-5.
•Located in Cambridge.
•GBP12.37 per hour on a PAYE basis.
Main Details:
•Review all Warning Notices and rectify risks immediately by arranging repairs.
•Act as the Designated Officer within Cambridge City Council in relation to gas contractors, taking appropriate action for each situation immediately.
•Complete and submit all documentation in relation to Building Compliance certificates, ensuring the relevant approvals are obtained.
•Provide year to date financial figures of current spending and commitments on a monthly basis along with detailed explanations relating to all variances.
•Liaise with external contractors to ensure all gas servicing and repair work meets the specification as set out in the contract and that performance achieves the level required by all key performance indicators.
•Arrange third party quality control checks on works undertaken by contractors on behalf of CCC, ensuring standards are adhered to at all times.
•Ensure the contractor's and sub-contractor's gas engineers are qualified and deemed competent to undertake gas works. Arrange training when required.
•Review and set up new gas procedures and processes adhering to GSIUR as required.
Essential Criteria:
•Excellent customer service, diplomacy and communication skills
•Experience of using different computer packages, including word processing, databases, email and spreadsheets.
•CORGI VRQ Level 4 in Gas Safety Management in Social Housing.
•Able to operate various I T systems, Microsoft, excel, Word, outlook.
•Able to deal with emergency situations and react accordingly.
