Purchasing and Stock Administrator
Due to a highly successful year and further expansion, my client has created a new role for an experience Purchasing and Stock Administrator to join their busy team in Droitwich.
This is a great opportunity to join a hugely successful independent company who are well respected in their chosen field of work.
The role will focus heavily on placing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers as well as internal staff, and organising stock replenishment orders for the business.
Reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain, the successful candidate will support the purchasing and planning function in a fast-changing environment. You will be responsible for managing stock levels and shelf-life of product across multiple warehouses. You will ensure optimum stock availability for all channels, with specific emphasis on export shipments.
You will also manage inventory levels of perishable products according to the stock policy ensuring adequate stock is available to fulfil customer orders.
Previous use of an integrated ERP system would be advantageous, but not essential. Relevant experience within a purchasing role and strong Excel skills are essential to be considered.
Due to rural location, own transport is required.
