An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent full-time Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join Making Space, a not-for-profit care provider based at Lyne House, Warrington. In return we offer a competitive salary of £23,423 per annum.

We are looking for a high energy, highly motivated individual to join our Marketing team, in what will be a fast paced, exciting and rewarding position within a national charity.

As a Marketing and Communications Coordinator you will, as part of a small team, be responsible for the internal and external communications across the charity. Your role will span the full marketing mix with an emphasis on: social media, PR, events, website management, email marketing, copywriting, graphic design and internal communications.

Duties will also include writing press releases and issuing to media, creating promotional and informative videos, managing content and media on our website, managing our social media platforms, writing and designing corporate and service literature, including: annual reports, promotional leaflets, posters and printed newsletters.

Working hours are 39 hours per week (Monday to Friday, flexible working).

Key Competencies

* PC literate, Microsoft, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Previous experience of working in a communications or marketing role
* Experience of writing copy and producing material for a variety of audiences, using a range of channels
* Experience of supplier management
* Copywriting, proofing and editing experience
* Excellent communicator, both written and oral
* Marketing/direct marketing expertise
* Creativity and innovation
* Accustomed to planning and working on integrated communication campaigns

Desirable

* Degree in Marketing, English, Business or equivalent
* Knowledge of desktop publishing and graphic design packages, such as InDesign
* Experience of writing press material and handling the media
