Job Title: Operations Expert - Human Resources Capability Platforms Specialist

Overview:

The Human Resources (HR) Platforms team is responsible for maintaining, developing and implementing HR systems globally for all HR products. They work closely with the HR product teams who are responsible for defining strategy and processes, in partnership with colleagues across the divisions. The HR Platforms team acts as an intermediary and translator between HR products and Information Technology (IT), ensuring that systems reflect the strategy and legal requirements set by the HR products and that HR processes are in line with the capabilities of the HR systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting HR Capability Platforms from an operational perspective, including the production releases of existing platforms
  • Supporting HR Capability Platforms change activity and taking the initiative to lead on these, as appropriate and with support from the team
  • Ensuring that regulatory and audit requirements are met by working closely with Functional Owners (FO), HR, HR Solutions (HRS) and HR IT in identifying potential risks and implementing corresponding solutions
  • Providing input into governance calls, escalating issues as appropriate and managing day-to-day relationships
  • Supporting the development, design and implementation of effective, valuable people processes that are used globally
  • Assisting with the end-to-end implementation of business processes, ensuring requirements are met
  • Working closely with the enablement and offshore system support team, providing functional support
  • Working with HR Direct to ensure that the HR support team have all necessary training, enablement materials and information that is required to provide excellent first and second level support
  • Providing support for the Governance of existing platforms, including data integrity and content management monitoring
  • Supporting the delivery of the book of work, including gathering requirements, configuration, testing, change management and release management

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience of supporting HR technology from a functional perspective
  • Experience of using Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions would be advantageous
  • Global organisational experience in a multi-national context
  • Experience of working in a project team and with external vendors
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and research skills, with an eye for detail and an ability to detect patterns
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a Matrix organisation and with team members outside of HR Platforms
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • An interest in and knowledge of the possibilities regarding the future of the technologies that could enable and support your work
  • Willingness and drive to look for opportunities to improve effectiveness
  • Educated to Bachelor's degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience
