The Administrator Operations (Finance), working closely with the Finance Officer, is involved in the delivery of Finance functions. The Administrator Operations has particular responsibility for reconciliation of HMIP transactions and general Finance adminstrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Deal with requisitioning, receipting, invoice payments and SOP payments promptly, accurately and efficiently.
Ensure that reconciliations are done monthly and any discrepancies recorded and monitored until resolved.
Provide support to ensure that procurement and payment for goods and services are handled appropriately and promptly
Provide support to ensure the appropriate and effective of Government Procurement Cards, and manage their issue.
Liaise with staff to ensure that the finance and procurement service meets requirements.
Provide support to deliver all finance processes in respect of Fee Paid Inspectors and others who may undertake work on our behalf.
Help monitor the Admin mailbox, dealing appropriately with emails received
Maintain robust record retention systems, ensuring risks to delivery are identified with managers
Recognise and promote diversity issues in all aspects of work
3 years worth of referencing is required, as well as a DBS.
