They are now looking to recruit a Service Desk Support Officer to join them to provide high quality, professional and effective administrative support to an ICT department including ICT Managers ensuring that all information and documentation is accurately processed.
Compiling, updating and maintaining manual and computerised information records, you will carry out administration and data inputting tasks, help to maintain hard copy and electronic filing systems and answer general telephone enquiries using a professional and courteous manner, directing enquiries to appropriate members of staff along with the provision of basic details of enquiry, reason for calling and when action is required.
Raising and processing orders / invoices as and when required, you must ensure good housekeeping including efficient and orderly electronic filing and administration of asset tracking spreadsheets and provide up to date reporting from the ICT helpdesk system.
With knowledge and experience of computer systems and software. e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook and established communication and interpersonal skills at all levels including customers, contractors and staff, candidates must have the ability to work collaboratively with others to deliver high quality services to customers and a flexible approach to team working with the willingness to contribute to corporate challenges.
