COVER MANAGER/COVER SUPERVISOR
Salary: Surrey Pay SN5 £19,245 -£21,796 (pro rata £16,329-18,494) per annum –
Term-time only + 5 inset days - 39 weeks
Required from June 2018
Motivated Cover Manager required to manage and record staff absences, arrange teaching staff cover using SIMS software and liaise with outside agencies to source teaching supply cover.
The Cover Manager will also supervise lessons for absent class teachers, respond to pupils’ requirements, ensuring adherence to school policies.
Ideal role for candidates wishing to gain classroom experience, possibly as a precursor to teacher training, or studying for a classroom support qualification.
