Maintenance Electrician
We are looking for a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our small, dedicated and friendly maintenance team in Witham.
Our client is an international business and has been established and successful for many years. They care about their employees and will be committed to your progress.
You will have good electrical knowledge and experience, particularly in fault finding, backed up by an apprenticeship or trade qualification. You will have worked in a manufacturing environment at some point and so understand the needs of effective and timely interventions in order to keep production flowing with targets maximised. You may have knowledge and experience in heavy plant engineering, ideally in quarrying, or food or heavy engineering.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-4.30 pm
Salary: Competitive, with increase potential according to competencies achieved
On call arrangements: 1 in 3 with back up and solo with full training
Overtime: Yes - WDD/WED plus BH Bonus and Call Out
Holidays: Standard
Public holidays: May be rota'd to work public holidays

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications: Recognised apprenticeship or electrical trade qualification
Skills/Abilities:
Literate and numerate
Computer literate
Good communication skills
Excellent problem solving ability

Working Knowledge:
Practical experience of maintaining plant and equipment in an industrial scale production environment
Environment, Health and Safety legislation
Manual handling techniques

Willing to learn/train in various areas relating to the position

Fork Lift Truck operation
Working Knowledge:
Previous experience in heavy duty engineering
