Ecologist

Our client is a leading Planning and Environmental Consultancy. They offer a comprehensive understanding of environmental challenges and solutions while striving to preserve and protect the environment. They are currently looking to recruit an Ecologist to be based in East Sussex.

Main responsibilities will include:

Supporting ecology surveys
Supporting project delivery
Planning and undertaking ecological field surveys
Designing and implementing mitigation strategies
Assisting and completing written reports
Assisting Senior Ecologists

Essential Requirements:

An honours degree in ecology or related field
Ecology survey experience
Must have a minimum of 3 seasons survey experience
Minimum of one protected species licence (great crested newt or bats are most desirable)
CIEEM membership
Capable of managing a challenging workload
Good communication and IT skills
Experienced in report writing
Full & Clean Driving licence
