The Company

Working for a national contractor who has a strong presence in the North West and midlands region for New Build Housing and General Construction projects. Turnover in excess of GBP200m.

The Role

We are currently looking for a maintenance / multi trades operative to work on a repairs and maintenance contract on a health centre in Stoke (ST2). This role is a permanent position and will be based within the health centre.

This work will involve patrolling the building, identifying and fixing faults and damage. A knowledge of mechanical and electrical work is beneficial, you would not be required to fix these issues as they are covered by a sub-contractor. You will need to be a multi skilled operative as works can include; changing lights/ fixing door handles / patch painting repair works/ other general repairs as required. IT literacy is crucial to the role as job details are processed through a helpdesk & sent via email.

To be considered for this role you will need the following;

• Experience within a building maintenance role
• Be capable of covering off a variety of trades
• Have current or be willing to complete DBS check
• Own transport
• IT literate
