Our Client are looking to appoint a Quality Inspector. They are based in Bicester (Oxfordshire), rate upto GBP15/ hour and it's a permanent role.
The successful candidate will be expected to work quickly and accurately without supervision and manage inspection for the whole business in line with the company's quality procedures.
The key duties are as follows:
• Final inspection of product using CMM, Digital Height Gauge, Shadowgraph and other measuring equipment.
• Recording of inspection undertaken on the company's Datatrack business system and the preparation of delivery paperwork.
• In-process and patrol inspection.
• Management of the internal and external calibration of measuring equipment
Standard hours of work are 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 2.30pm on Friday with overtime available.
The hourly rate for the role will depend on experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a proven track record in a similar role, be able to work under pressure in order to meet customer deadlines and have the following key skills:
Mandatory Skills
• A minimum of 5 years inspection experience.
• A good working knowledge PC-DMIS.
• Good communication skills.
• Good organisational skills.
• Good IT skills
