What does the role involve?

+ Operating Mechanical Handling Equipment in a safe and effective manner
+ Unloading vehicles and breaking down incoming pallets
+ Undertaking pick face replenishment tasks using RF scanners linked to WMS
+ Undertaking visual quality checks for all products received
+ Working accurately with Batch numbers and use by dates
+ Locating incoming goods and manufactured items into the appropriate racking
+ Picking bulk pallets or customer orders as required
+ Loading pallets onto carriers, undertaking required checks for accuracy and safety.
+ Providing packing materials to Case assembly area and assembly of cartons as required.
+ Assisting with stock counts and perpetual inventory
+ Supporting Pick/ Pack shift as required.
+ Housekeeping stock within warehouse to make best use of space.
+ Ensuring that at all times general housekeeping is kept at the highest standard e.g. clean and tidy floors
+ Ensuring personal targets are met as well as working as part of a team to ensure department targets are met on a daily basis
+ Feeding back appropriate information to the Stock Controller of any difficulties in operations
+ Compliance with all H&S regulations and wearing a high-vis and protective footwear at all times 
+ Any other tasks as requested by Management

What are we looking for? 

+ Use of Flexi and Counterbalance FLT in a warehouse environment is a must
+ Use of a medium level order picker and or high-level order picker is a must
+ Able to work accurately and efficiently with a strong quality focus
+ This role may be physically demanding and involves lifting and bending 
+ Experienced in use of computers and bar code scanner
+ Self-motivated and target driven with the ability to work independently
+ A good verbal and written communicator 

Hours of work: Monday to Friday - Hours to be scheduled between 06:00-22:00 5 days out of 7
