£7.70 per hour with a 15% uplift on hourly rate for hours worked between 8:00pm and 11:00pm (subject to increase after training)

The Production Operative Role:

Our manufacturing team have immediate vacancies for production operatives on a 3-month fixed term basis, with the potential of a full-term contract at the end of the three months.

In this role, you will be part of a growing team producing our unique formula sports nutrition products and will have the opportunity to learn and work on a number of different lines and processes.

Typical duties of an operative will include: 

+ Working on the production lines to create finished products
+ Operating production machinery and equipment
+ Ensuring personal and team targets are met on a daily basis 
+ Maintaining high standards of food hygiene procedures and housekeeping 
+ Picking, Weighing, and blending ingredients
+ Logging all processes of production to job sheets
+ Ensure company production policy is followed
+ Packaging and labelling of all products for dispatch

The successful candidates will have a selection of the following skills:

+ Previous experience of a role within production
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Team Player
+ Understanding of Health and Safety in the work environment
+ Excellent timekeeper
+ Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure 
+ High level of both numeracy and literacy competency
+ Experience working in a food manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential)

Shift Hours: 14:30- 23:00 Monday to Thursday and Friday 14:00- 22:00
