Head of Decision Science

You will be working for one of the of the most exciting Start Up ventures in recent years, being responsible for leading the strategic direction of the business as well as keeping the exciting hands on model development aspect of a great Decision Science opportunity. Are you looking to make the move into a Head of Decision Science role but keep the hands on aspect of building Scorecards? This role will give you the responsibility of leading the development, validation and maintenance of the companies Credit Risk Scorecards across their growing and much changing business whilst also building a team around you., As the Head of Decision Science, your predominant responsibility will be the development of both Application and Behavioural Scorecards as well as Underwriting Models. Using these models partnered with customer information will then allow you to make improvements within their collection and borrower retention strategies making them more efficient and effective. Other responsibilities include liaising with business stakeholders, oversight of the post implementation monitoring of all scorecards and managing the development of challenger strategies., Credit Risk - Scorecards - Scoring - Application - Behavioural - SAS - SQL - R - Modelling - Underwriting - stakeholder experience - management - Strategy * Experience in developing both Application and Behavioural Scorecards. * Expert in Credit Scoring and Statistical Modelling. * Ability to communicate with people at all levels within the company. * Proven experience in a form of programming (SAS, SQL or R). * Experience or a desire to lead a team. You can expect to earn up to GBP125,000 plus a competitive benefits package
