Job Purpose:

As part of the Omnicom Shared Service Centre (OASYS) you will provide effective and efficient provision support of the financial system services (Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012) to Omnicom Group companies in the UK and Europe. 

Duties and responsibilities:

• Support to existing implementations of Microsoft Dynamics AX in the UK

• Assist in the management of support requests to ensure a response is received in the time expected

• Use knowledge of Dynamics AX to respond to technical help requests

• Work with developers to implement changes and bug fixes

• Build and increase knowledge of Dynamics AX on a technical and functional level

• Work with AX implementation consultants to gain business understanding of various sectors 

• Support AX Consultants with future implementation projects 

• Collaborate with Dynamics AX support consultants in other parts of the international network for delivering support to global users

• Promote best practice and delivery of service of the highest quality

• Represent the business professionally and positively at all times.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience 

• At least two years’ experience working with Dynamics AX

• A Graduate in a IT or Finance related subject 

• Strong understanding of Financial procedures and account reconciliation in particular Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable  and General Ledger

• Knowledge of accounting audited standards desirable 

• Good understanding of Dynamics AX data structures including creating queries to analyse data

• Strong knowledge of core processes and functionality for at least one of finance, trade and logistics, manufacturing or retail

• Demonstrable experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

• Broad knowledge of technical capabilities of Dynamics

• Strong organisational skills 

• Positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and a problem-solving approach

• Team player, able to communicate with peers and escalate where appropriate
