Sales Executive

Position: Trainee Sales Representative

Location: Ideally based around Northampton, Luton, Milton Keynes, Stevenage and/or Cambridge, within easy reach of the London sales area (incl. Greater London and East Side of London) and our office in Leics.

Salary: £18k rising to £24k on completion of initial 12 month training. OTE 1st Year is £32k+, rising to £40k+ in year 2.

Lighthouse (UK) Ltd manufactures and supplies label and sign printing solutions to 75 of the FTSE100 companies. We also have over 30 distributors across Europe.

We are looking for an honest, professional, motivated sales or telesales person looking to move into outbound sales based around Northampton, Luton, Milton Keynes, Stevenage and/or Cambridge, to develop business in London (incl. Greater London and East Side of London) & Southern England.

The role involves;

Generating new business opportunities within new and existing customers, through exhibitions, vertical markets, targeted mail, references etc. The typical working pattern involves 1 day a week in the office, booking appointments, following up enquiries etc, and 4 days on the road, visiting customers to discuss their requirements and the solutions we can provide.

The successful candidate will ideally;

* Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Be PC literate
* Show a willingness to learn about our systems, services and industry
* Have some previous sales experience
* Demonstrate a good level of phone ability
* Enjoy being part of the Lighthouse team
