Grower Supervisor - Westmancote Nursery
Salary: Dependent on skills and competencies 

Glendale Horticulture manages eleven nurseries across the UK, with seven nurseries spread throughout the Vale of Evesham, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, two sites in Kent and two in Lancashire. 

Reporting to the Nursery Manager your role will be to manage the growing team and to ensure that the correct standards and procedures are met and followed by all. 

This is an important role for Glendale Horticulture, which involves the organisation of people, plants and machinery effectively to ensure crops are grown to correct standards to meet with agreed specifications and deadlines. The position also includes the need for an individual to work towards providing optimum growing conditions for all plants on site to reach the required marketing standard.

We need an individual who can demonstrate the ambition and drive necessary to make a difference to our organisation. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to manage and train a team effectively within the correct standards. We are looking for an individual that is prepared to step up and assist in all areas if staff are absent. The individual will be a good communicator, and have the skills to deal with difficult situations professionally and with diplomacy. We are looking for a team player, and require an individual with the competencies to work without direction where necessary. Applicants should be willing to work weekends.
