Offering pioneering security solutions across the globe, Securitas specialises in ensuring customers’ safety, protection and peace of mind. We are now looking for a number of Corporate Security Officers to join us on a full or part time basis, working at sites around Southampton.

As a Security Officer, you’ll be responsible for providing a high-quality security service to one of our customers, a leading educational institution. 

Based at one of the customer’s sites in Southampton, you will: 

- Carry out reception duties 
- Book in students and visitors 
- Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site by completing patrols 
- Lock and unlock areas of the site 
- Report instances of property at risk of being lost, stolen, damaged and/or vandalised 

Due to the requirements of this role, you will need a five year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment or full and part-time education during that period. 

An SIA licence would be beneficial to your application, as would experience as a security officer, gained in the security industry. A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle would also be beneficial, as would a First Aid qualification. 

This role is available on a full or part time basis, working 24 - 36 hours per week, days and nights on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.
