Salford Van Hire Limited, is a privately-owned company and are one of the country’s leading vehicle rental and contract hire companies and we are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant to support, and report directly to, our Group Financial Controller and will be based within our demanding Accounts Department at our head office address in Manchester.
The ideal candidate
Will be an experienced or part qualified accountant with a good solid background and have experience in the following areas:
- Sales Ledger
- Purchase Ledger
- Nominal Ledger
- Reconciliation & Bank Postings
- Sage Payroll
- Excel Spreadsheets
- Other Ad-hoc duties as and when required
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who possesses a positive attitude and excellent communication skills which will be combined with an exceptional attention to detail, along with a hands-on can-do approach to any given tasks who is a keen team player but is also able to work on their own initiative.
Being qualified by extensive suitable experience in a similar financial role is essential and demonstration of this experience will be required at interview.
Salary details will be discussed at interview only, but will be commensurate with experience.
