Job Description LOCATION: Skegness, Lincolnshire
JOB TITLE: Team Leader/ Supervisor (Production/ Manufacturing)
SALARY & BENEFITS: Production Band D (current rate GBP9.13 per hour)
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Thursday - 3.30pm to finish, usually 12.00am -Friday - 2.30pm to finish, usually 10.00pm
THE CLIENT: Team Leader/ Supervisor (Production/ Manufacturing) - Skegness, Lincolnshire
We are pleased to be working with a very well established company, based in Skegness, Lincolnshire that has been providing critical garment services within the UK for over 30 years, but has been established for over 100 years starting as a steam laundry. The company operates from 3 processing sites (Skegness, Grantham & Louth) and has over 300 employees today and offer their services across a range of industry sectors. The company is a market leader in the provision of clean garments to the food processing and manufacturing industries, and also offers consumables and PPE services, and they are a large supplier to the pharmaceuticals industry.
THE ROLE: Team Leader/ Supervisor (Production/ Manufacturing) - Skegness, Lincolnshire
Reporting to the Production Co-ordinator, The Team leader will ensure the smooth running of the cleanroom on a day-to-day basis, by guiding, supporting and leading the team. The role will require the Team Leader's ability to create a working ethos where the on-going aim is to maintain a consistent approach of working smarter, by encouraging a mind-set of learning from mistakes, improving efficiencies and continually improvements. The Health & Safety of the team and delivering the required quality to the customer must be our priority and the Team Leader will be responsible for this on an on-going basis

- Ability to ensure all staff work to detailed procedures
- Ability to achieve set targets and monitor KPI's
- Good self-motivation, initiative and commitment to the business
- Willing to work flexible hours as and when required
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Ability to work with computers with some levels of IT knowledge (user control interfaces)
- Good level of spoken and written English

- Previous experience in a Team Leading/ Supervisor role essential
- Experience in a Team leading from a production/ Manufacturing background highly desirable
