We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant join their Finance Division based in Enfield.

The purpose of the role is to provide financial support and management as well as challenge the business when required, enabling the Commercial Directors and Finance Managers to deliver their monthly profit centre information and reporting in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include the following:-

• Ensure contract/job income and costs are updated and maintained by liaising with commercial leads and/or operational managers
• Review of work in progress, ensuring accurate and timely issue of sales invoices
• Assist with checking and dealing with queries relating to Supplier invoices where required.
• Month End journals and assistance with month end reporting
• Support Finance Manager and Commercial leads with the production of forecasts and budgets
• Provide support in validation of and information for fee proposals/tenders
• Assist with debt collection and resolution of queries as required.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience within a similar Management Accounts support role
• Already Part qualified, studying or willing to study for an accounting qualification
• Competence in the use of Microsoft Office software package - in particular Excel
• Numerate and excellent problem solving skills
• Managing workloads, ensuring deadlines are met
• Ability to take ownership of tasks
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
• Ability to liaise with internal & external stakeholders
• Willing to learn about life and pensions products.
