An excellent opportunity for an Assistant Contracts Manager to join a well-established company based in Cradley Heath, West Midlands!
Job Title: Assistant Contracts Manager
The Role:
Assistant Construction contracts managers for the aluminium glazing industry. You will assistant the Contracts Manager on projects from the start through to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time and within its budget. As an Assistant Contracts Manager, you could be working on a wide variety of projects, from office developments to houses or schools and colleges to road and rail schemes across the United Kingdom. The successful candidates will be part of a two-person contract department with a team of seven installers.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role or site experience looking for their first management responsibility
Skills:
- Assist in regular planned site visits to ensure contracts are set up and run effectively and safely
- Managing activities conforming to recognised quality standards like ISO 9001;2015
- Able to understand working drawings and knowledge of aluminium glazing
- Receiving orders, issuing to drawing office, requisitioning and ordering materials
- Liaising with customer and architect in a professional manager without delay
- Agreeing starts dates and organising delivery and installation on time
- To ensure work us completed on time within agreed budget to client’s satisfaction
- Keeping a well-documented contract file and using data and information to produce reports
- Method statements and risk assessments on for each contract
- Raising sales invoices
- Ability to work unsupervised, to deadlines and on budget
- Due diligence
- Site visits and site surveys
Qualifications:
- Full driving licence
- Site visitor CSCS card and up to date H&S environmental test
- Recognised H&S safety training like IOSHH Working Safety or SSSTS, SMSTS
- Good written and verbal skills
- Good ICT skills in excel and word, knowledge of CAD advantageous

In Return the company is offering a Salary of £23’000 - £25’000 Per Year Depending on experience, Company Pension, Car and Mobile Phone
